A somewhat short version of how the farm got started.

I was born and raised in Concrete and have lived in Sedro-Woolley for 36 plus years. We have a beautiful little farm, where we raised our boy. Now our grandson enjoys the farm as much as his daddy did.

I worked at Thompson’s Greenhouse which was a 3-minute drive from home, for 25 years, doing everything from sowing seed, weeding, watering, wholesale, retail just all of it.

I retired from the greenhouse just as they were retiring too in 2021. I was off for approximately 3 days when I decided I wanted a U-pick lavender farm. A week later I had 1100 lavender plants delivered to the farm.

Let the planting begin, the watering, and the weeding, didn’t I just retire from this? While waiting for the lavender to mature which takes a while, I decided I needed to add a U-pick cut flower field. I was finishing up the buying of seeds and starts for the flower field, when I thought a pumpkin patch would be neat. When searching for pumpkin seeds, I got into the herb seed section, I will be adding U-pick fresh herbs in 2023. Life is Good!

The website professionals say I’m supposed to post a picture of me, maybe in the future, for now you get a picture of our number 1 employee, grandson Emmett. He is 2 years old in the picture, turned 3 on Christmas day 2022.
